4-Ingredient Buffalo Chicken Dip (Dairy Free, Paleo, Whole30)


It's so funny typing out this recipe and realizing it's technically "Whole30" compliant, because it tastes so freaking indulgent and delicious. Also, I usually eat it with (not Whole30) corn chips but you could definitely scoop up this goodness with plantain chips or celery sticks instead! This recipe is awesome to have on hand for last-minute parties/get-togethers -- It's a huge crowd pleaser and did I mention there are only a whopping 4 INGREDIENTS involved?!? Um, if people ask, you don't HAVE to tell them this (I feel like bragging the dish you brought only has 4 ingredients is the same thing as bragging that your awesome t-shirt was $5 at a thrift store -- it's great for you, but sounds less impressive when people find out) But hey, if you want to do anyone a favor share away!

Quick side note: when it comes to mayonnaise the type you buy is really important. It's one of those condiments that can be either good for you or terrible for you depending on the ingredients used. To ensure you're getting the good stuff, you can either make your own or look for a brand that's made with cage-free eggs and a healthy oil (such as avocado oil). Avoid brands that use cheap vegetable oils such as soybean or canola. 

4-Ingredient Buffalo Chicken Dip (Dairy Free, Paleo, Whole30)

  • 3 cups shredded chicken

(I typically use leftover rotisserie chicken. You could also shred 3 cooked chicken breasts!)

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

(I like the Primal Kitchen brand. b/c lets be honest I'm not going to make my own, but props if ya want to!)

Preaheat oven to 350°. Combine ingredients into a baking dish and mix (that's right, I stir it all up right in the baking dish because WHY make extra dishes for yourself??). Bake uncovered for 35 minutes until it has slightly browned around the edges. Boom, bring that party pleaser to your next soiree or binge-eat it on your couch, I'm not judging. ***Disclaimer: binge eating is NOT Whole30. :D
